Fine Homeware from Kitchen to Table

Jan Hendrik van der Westhuizen made history when, in 2016, he became South Africa’s first Michelin-star chef. His dishes at Restaurant JAN in the city of Nice, France, have since become characterised as culinary works of art that shine a light on South Africa’s rich heritage, transforming traditional fare into haute cuisine. On home turf, his culinary experience, Restaurant Klein JAN, explores the ingredients and traditional cookery of the arid Kalahari region, which are elevated to world class cuisine. Apart from his groundbreaking work as a chef, Jan Hendrik is also a photographer, publisher and broadcaster, and divides his time between France and South Africa. His new homeware range was born of his passion for creating beautiful experiences both in and around the kitchen.
