RETURNS POLICY

Simply put…

We offer you a hassle-free return at no cost if you return your item(s) within 30 days of receiving your order. We will send a courier to collect your item(s) from you within 2-3 days of us approving your return. We won’t be fussy about approving your return, as long as you did not damage the item(s) – ultimately, we want you to be happy with your goodies!

Now for the legal jargon…

1. This Returns Policy regulates the conditions and circumstances in which goods will be accepted for return and refund.

2. It also explains the process you need to follow in order to properly cancel a purchase, report a defect and/or arrange for a return.

3. You are not entitled to any refund, repair or replacement save to the extent that it is expressly provided for under this Return Policy.

4. Gifts and vouchers are not returnable.

5. To complete your return, we require your order number.

6. If you are unsatisfied with the purchase after receiving the item from Lavish’d, you can return the item to us, and we will either exchange, replace or refund your account, subject to the terms below. This Policy applies only to items bought from Lavish’d (www.lavishd.com).

7. This Policy forms part of the Lavish’d Terms and Conditions, and words defined in the Terms and Conditions have the same meaning in this Policy unless the context indicates otherwise. Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit your statutory rights in any way.

8. You can return an item to us at no charge, provided that you log a return on the Lavish’d Website within 30 days of delivery to you, provided that the item is in its original, unused condition in its original packaging with the invoice, delivery note, attached price tag, unbroken seals (if applicable) and unused accessories, and we will exchange, replace or refund, the item in the same way that you paid for it.

9. Should an item be found to be defective after this period, it can still be returned to us subject to each item’s respective warranty. A defect is a material imperfection in the manufacture of an item or any characteristic that makes the item less acceptable than one would reasonably be entitled to expect in the circumstances.

10. We will collect the item from you at no charge. Our courier is entitled to refuse collection of an item that is not properly packaged for transport.

11. Once we have inspected the item and validated your return, we will either replace or exchange the item within 10 days of the return (or refund you via your original payment method if that is your preference). Refunds can take 5 – 10 working days to reflect in your account. We can refuse a return if the unwanted item is returned damaged, not in a re-saleable condition or missing any accessories.

12. Incorrect Item

12.1. If it happened that you received the wrong item or if the item is not as described on the Website (or if it is missing any accessories), please notify us, and we will collect the item from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the item and validated your return, we will, at your choice, deliver the correct item to you as soon as possible (if the correct item is available); or refund you with the purchase price of the item within 10 days of the return.

13. Items damaged on delivery

13.1. Should an item be damaged at the time of delivery/collection, please notify us of such delivery/collection by logging a return as instructed on the Website.

13.2. We will arrange to collect the item from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the item and validated your return, we will, at your choice, exchange, refund or replace the item as soon as possible (if such replacement is possible) or refund you with the purchase price of the item. Refunds are normally handled within 10 days of logging the return. Replacements could take longer, as it is subject to availability.

14. Vouchers & Coupons

14.1. There are two types of Coupons: A Coupon with a fixed amount of a discount, e.g. R100 off (“Fixed Coupon”), and a Coupon with a percentage discount, e.g. 10% off (“Percentage Coupon”).

14.2. Where you have used a Fixed Coupon to pay for an order, and you or Lavish’d later cancels your order (or part thereof) prior to delivery of the relevant item(s), or you log a return of one or more items for a credit in accordance with this Policy, the value of the Fixed Coupon will be deducted from the purchase price of the cancelled or returned item(s) (as applicable), and we will refund you for the balance, if any. For any subsequent cancellations or returns arising out of the same order, we will refund you as normal with the value of the returned item.

14.3. Where you have used a Percentage Coupon to pay for an order, and you or Lavish’d later cancels your order (or part thereof) prior to delivery of the relevant item(s), or you log a return of one or more items for a credit in accordance with this Policy, the value of the discount received using the Percentage Coupon will be deducted from the purchase price of the cancelled or returned item(s) (as applicable), and we refund you for the balance, if any. For any subsequent cancellations or returns arising out of the same order, we will refund you as normal with the value of the returned item.

15. Charges

15.1. If you return a defective item to us, but you fail to return all of the accessories that were sold with that item, we are entitled (subject to applicable law) to refuse the return, only to replace the item that you did return, or to estimate the value of the missing accessories and only to refund you in respect of the returned item.

15.2. If you return items to us by mistake and you want these returned to you, you may be liable to reimburse Lavish’d for the cost of having the item returned to you.

15.3. If you return an item that does not comply with this Policy, you may be liable to reimburse Lavish’d for the cost of collecting the item from you and the cost of having the item returned to you.
